About Me

Hi, there! I'm Stephanie!

When I'm not using my camera (or homeschooling my children or doing laundry), you'll probably find me baking or reading, and more often than not, an icy, cold Coca-Cola will be beside me. And maybe some Nutella.

That's me with my amazing family down below! The Lord has blessed me with Ben (my best friend and husband of 20+ years!) who encourages my photography endeavors and always cheers me on. My children are also pretty amazing! My daughter assists me on many sessions, and my son is a cheerful 'go-getter' for all the things I forget in the car on a session - usually a stool, because I'm short! ;-)

I have always been interested in photography. I received my first 35mm camera after graduating from 6th grade! I joined the yearbook staff in high school which was one of my favorite creative outlets! Capturing all the school events and then turning the photos I snapped into page layouts, I just loved it all!

Enter the year 2000! I got my first digital camera! My interest in photography continued to grow, but with the birth of my children, I didn't have a lot of extra time to practice my skills.

Now that my children are older, I have had a bit more free time to devote to my photography. I love learning all I can (Amy & Jordan and Katelyn James courses are so good if any of you are budding photographers looking for a place to start! Check out their free webinars)!

The Lord continues to give me opportunities to serve my friends and family for which I am grateful. Any success I happen to achieve is all due to Him

You are welcome to view my portfolio HERE. I try to keep this updated as each session produces photos I love!
